Waterberg Wildlife Sanctuary
In the heart of our Sanctuary lies a noble mission: to provide forever homes for a diverse family of wild animals. Each day, our dedicated team tends to their well-being, but this undertaking comes at a significant cost.
As a Sanctuary providing forever homes for various wild animals their everyday care carries a huge cost.
Especially when it comes to the big cats of the Sanctuary. Their food consumption per cat is in the region of 150kgs to 200Kgs of meat per day and 4tons per month on average, then there is their vitamin and mineral supplements and veterinery check-ups.
We take care of over 20 big cats as well as hyenas, jackals and wolves.
We rely heavily on donations, sponsors and animal adoptions to help us maintain the best possible nutrition and care for the animals.
We reach out to anyone and everyone, no matter if you an individual or a business to assist us by making donation towards the animals.
Every cent raised makes a massive difference to the Sanctuary.
