Waterberg Wildlife Sanctuary
You’ll experience the real and raw reality of conservation, rehabilitation or life – long caretaking of wild life. Experience what it’s like to live and work as a volunteer and animal caretaker in South Africa. It is not always easy and there are many challenges along the way, including long hours and tough work, it is however one of the most rewarding and enriching experiences you’ll ever have.
Involving yourself in genuine volunteering can be a life-changing experience. You will never forget the first time you hear a lion roar or have sundowners under the African skies.
Volunteering on a live-in basis at Waterberg Wildlife Sanctuary is preferred as there are a number of options you can choose from.
Benefits of Volunteering:
To volunteer is someone who is unselfish and willing to devote their time – without any remuneration – to animals in need of tender care and unconditional love.
Join us in our mission to protect and preserve the natural world by volunteering your time and passion at our wildlife sanctuary.
Waterberg Wildlife Sanctuary is situated 25 km from Vaalwater, a small town in the Limpopo Province.
